Seeing the northern lights from Switzerland is possible, but exceptionally rare. On the night of June 10 - 11, 2024, the solar flare that reached the upper layers of our atmospheric shield was so strong that the aurora was visible as far south as Europe, and covered most of the sky in Switzerland.
